Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

•You are to plan, design and oversee construction projects;
•You need to analyse survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects;
•You are to provide technical advice regarding design, construction; conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess the potential impact of projects;
•You have to ensure that all civil and structural requirements for submission to relevant authorities are met;
•You will liaise with clients and consultants pertaining to civil and structural requirements;
•You will prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans and construction schedules for projects;
•You will inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design, plans, specifications, construction and safety standard;
•You are also responsible for safety and risk management, site work planning and scheduling;
•You must have the ability to estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment or labour to determine project feasibility;
•You test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.

Requirements:

•Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from recognized institutions;
•2 to 3 years working experiences in construction industry is preferred;
•Knowledge of design techniques and tools in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models;
•Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in construction of pipes and roads;
•Well versed in Microsoft Office software and AutoCAD;
•Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and with tight schedule;
•Independent, hands-on and meticulous;
