Mechanical Design Engineer (Mechanical & Design Control)

Responsibilities:

You will be part of the Mechanical & Design Control team to design new products.

Your role and responsibilities include:

•Product design, from its cosmetic appearance to its structure and components, which forms the final product.
•Products / parts testing / evaluation to ensure compliance.
•Assist project leader in making design-related documentations.
•Work with Quality Assurance Department on product validation, testing and quality issues.
•Provide technical support to ensure a smooth run of production.
•Liaise with purchasers and vendors for parts fabrication.
•Travel overseas for product testing, analysis and evaluation, support production bases and visit vendors.

Requirements:

•Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable University
•Possess in-depth knowledge in CAD application software, preferably in I-DEAS NX environment (3D and 2D drafting)
•Minimum one year of relevant working experience in product design environment.
•Able to travel overseas from time to time for overseas assignments at short notice.

Additional Information:

•Permanent, full-time position
•5-day work week (Monday to Friday)
•Working hours from 8.00am to 5.30pm
